The Neogen® Swab-Sampler with Buffered Peptone Water (BPW) is a ready-to-use sample collection device designed for environmental hygiene monitoring and microbial testing. The prefilled BPW medium supports efficient organism recovery, making it ideal for food processing, sanitation verification and laboratory workflows.

The Neogen® Swab-Sampler with Buffered Peptone Water (BPW) is designed for environmental sampling and microbial pre-enrichment in food processing and sanitation programs. The device includes a sterile swab and a prefilled BPW medium, enabling immediate suspension of collected organisms for improved recovery and consistent results.

BPW is widely used as an international standard pre-enrichment medium. Combined with the integrated Swab-Sampler format, it simplifies sampling, transport and preparation, making it ideal for routine hygiene monitoring and laboratory workflows.
